YOURMD.ONLINE is a telemedicine EHR that does not offer in-person services. Thus, the availability and extent of our telehealth care services are restricted to the licensed professionals on our platform, their competence, and their particular field of practice.

Our telehealth services are intended to provide professional opinions, guidance, and interventions for urgent medical needs such as prescription refills (according to our prescription policy), treatment of non-emergency medical problems, and limited treatments for acute illnesses while the patient is stable. In the event of loss of limb function, difficulty breathing, major impairment, cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke, or sexually transmitted disease concerns, patients will be redirected to urgent and emergency care facilities for appropriate treatment.

Our medical practitioners are required to participate in continuing medical education, remain up-to-date with evolving standards of care, and maintain board certification criteria. In addition, our internal policies are evaluated frequently to ensure compliance with applicable rules and laws.
